Who Qualifies for Home Health?

Homebound: To qualify for home health, patients must meet the definition of homebound. This only means that leaving the home requires a considerable and taxing effort and that trips away from the home are consequently infrequent and of short duration. Patients can be only temporarily homebound due to injury or illness. (Exception: Medicaid does not have an explicit homebound requirement for home health)

Skilled Need: A patient must need the particular services of a nurse or therapist to qualify for all the other services home health has to offer.

Physician Supervision: You get to keep your doctor. Precision Home Health Care works under the orders of your doctor. To qualify for supervising your home health care, your doctor must have seen you within 90 days before or 30 days after your home health start of care.
